How many guests can a coffee cart serve and how fast?

On average, one professional barista can serve 40–50 drinks per hour, depending on the menu and level of customization. For larger events, adding an additional cart is recommended to maintain speed and minimize wait times. Our standard menu features handcrafted espresso beverages including; lattes, cappuccinos, americanos, and mochas, along with hot chocolate and chai. We also offer iced options, dairy-free milk alternatives, and flavored syrups. Decaf espresso is available upon request. Custom specialty drinks and seasonal selections can be added to match your event or brand.

Do you offer non coffee, dairy-free, decaf, or allergen-friendly options?

Absolutely. Capitol Coffee Catering offers a full range of options to accommodate all guests. In addition to espresso drinks, we provide hot chocolate, chai, matcha, and seasonal specialty beverages. We carry oat and other dairy-free milk alternatives are available upon request. Decaf and sugar-free syrups are also available upon request.
If your event has specific dietary needs or allergies, just let us know in advance. While we can strive to be” allergy-safe”, it’s important to note that we cannot guarantee a fully allergen-free environment.

What are the space and power-water requirements?

We typically require an 8’ x 6’ space for setup. Access to a standard 120V outlet (20-amp preferred) is ideal, especially for larger events or premium equipment. We bring our own water supply and do not require a direct water connection. If your venue has specific limitations, let us know in advance and we’ll coordinate accordingly.

Our service has a 2-hour minimum, with most events booking 2–3 hours to ensure all guests are served comfortably. Service time can be adjusted based on your guest count and event schedule, and additional hours are available upon request.

Can you include our logo or a message on top of the espresso drinks?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We use a Ripple coffee printer to print your company logo, message, or custom design directly onto the foam using edible coffee extract. It’s a premium branding feature that creates a memorable, photo-ready experience for corporate events, conferences, and product launches…and your guests will absolutely love it.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking 3–4 weeks in advance, as prime dates - especially during Phoenix’s busy spring and fall event seasons fill quickly. Larger events and premium add-ons like custom logo drink printing may require additional lead time. While we occasionally accommodate last-minute requests, early booking ensures availability and the best experience.
